Office Overview

ASEAN Office of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology was established in Bangkok on October 1, 2007.
Based on the university's philosophy "Spin the Earth" and the realization of a sustainable society, our university is working to form a international hub for sharing knowledge. Since exchanges between our university and ASEAN countries are particularly important, we have opened an ASEAN Liaison Office in Bangkok, Thailand, located in the heart of Asia.

Purpose of the ASEAN Office

The roles and objectives of our office in the ASEAN countries are as follows:

• Providing information about our university to students, universities, companies, etc. in the local and neighboring countries
• Activities to attract international students, support before studying abroad
• Supporting or coordinating study abroad activities, faculty and staff training, and academic conference participation in the relevant area for students and researchers of our university
• Support work to understand local issues and needs and to reflect and develop them in the university's international expansion projects
• Safety and crisis management for students, faculty and staff of our university when traveling abroad
• Management, networking and utilization of our school alumni association in the area
• Other cooperation with international-related activities of the university
