Dr. Sahatchai from Chiang Mai University in Thailand came to visit us.

He completed the Tokyo Marathon on March 3.

Dr. Sahachai joined the Laboratory of Veterinary Physiology (then Laboratory of Animal Physiology) as a one-year short-term exchange student from Chulalongkorn University in 1998, when Professor Nagaoka was 5th grade student.
The day after his arrival from Thailand, he was taken on a laboratory trip to a ski resort in Nagano.
It was the first time for him to see snow, and he did not have any warm clothes, so everyone lent him theirs. (Prof. Nagaoka)

I hope we can work together in the future since you are doing research on the relationship between gut microbiota and renal diseases at Chiang Mai University. (Prof. Nagaoka)
