Graduate School of Agriculture [Master's course, 4-year doctoral course] Introducing the Graduate School of Agriculture (Master's program and four-year doctoral program). Message from the Dean To master advanced research in the field of agricultural science and become someone who can connect to the future Graduate School of Agriculture is a graduate school with a master's program (2 years (Department of Agriculture)) and a doctoral program (4 years (Cooperative Division of Veterinary Sciences)) that aims to nurture students with higher levels of expertise and broader perspectives. In order to solve the serious issues facing modern society, such as food and resource problems, population problems, abnormal weather and environmental problems caused by global warming, and infectious diseases, we will revitalize academic exchanges between various fields while deepening our expertise, and promote overseas research studies and educational collaborations with partner universities. In addition, we will actively create opportunities for students to learn together with working adults through industry-academia-government collaboration projects, and hone practical skills to solve problems in the real world. We hope that by promoting advanced research in the field of agriculture, students in this graduate school will be able to flexibly demonstrate their ability to overcome challenges in various situations, develop their own individuality based on their own identity, and become core players in pioneering the next era in the international community. Ryo Funada, Dean of the Graduate School of Agriculture Overview of Graduate School of Agriculture Graduate School of Agriculture aims to provide in-depth academic knowledge from a broad perspective and to develop talented individuals who have the research skills in their major fields, as well as the outstanding abilities to take on jobs that require a high level of expertise, in order to contribute to solving various issues in the fields of agriculture, life science, environmental science, and veterinary science and to creating a sustainable society. Department Department of Agriculture (Master's Program) To foster talented individuals with advanced research capabilities who will lead the fields of bioproduction science, applied biochemistry, natural environment resources, food and agricultural information engineering, geosociology, and international innovation.
